Our Vehicle Security Deterrent is a battery operated, microprocessor-controlled smoke generator. It is based (as are most smoke generators) on the vaporiser principle, i.e. a glycol fluid is evaporated and condenses into smoke when leaving the smoke nozzle. However, our Vehicle Security Deterrent only heats when smoke is actually needed. Because of the sleep mode the machine uses only 1.5 milliamperes in idle status and consequently it may remain connected to the battery for several hours with minimal discharging – the standby time is approx. 250 hours on a 12Ah battery.
Artifically - made smoke can be produced in many different ways. The method used in this unit (vaporiser principle) is the most harmless. No case has so far been reported in which a sound human being has been harmed because of using our manufacturers device to produce smoke. However, this can only be guaranteed if the smoke machines are used accordingly, ie at the correct vaporisation temperature as well as with the correct smoke fluid.
BEWARE: We recommend that those suffering from severe respiratory conditions / asthma or problems with the respiratory tract should not be exposed to dense concentrations of artificially produced smoke.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS:
The Vehicle Security Deterrent is guaranteed for 12 months against faulty parts or manufacture, provided it is used in accordance with these instructions.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
The unit produces large volumes of dense harmless security fog in a confined space, which may settle on surfaces.
We are unable to know how well upholstery or leather seats would react with this potential smoke fluid residue.
ALL CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO TAKE NOTE OF THIS AND A DECLARATION WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED, PRIOR OF THE SECURITY FOG DETERRENT BEING FITTED - JUST TO CLARIFY THAT THE CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS OF A POSSIBLILTY OF ANY POTENTIAL SMOKE FLUID RESIDUE.
